This week was engulfed by assembling the many different parts of our device, taking verification measurements, and writing our report. We finished 3d printing the housings for all our devices early in the week so that we could do some post processing to clean them up before installing their circuitry. We then added the final aspects to the code with regard to charge notification of the backpack, charge measurement of the screw, impedance measurement of the screw, and clean 50 kHz oscillation across the inductor coil in the battery backpack.
A large challenge that we encountered was that of getting manufacturing quotes on different aspects of our device. Given that we are not an established company and would not pay for the quote, we could not expect much more than a couple “tentative quotes.”
